So I've been working on the Canadian border now for the past little bit. It's actually pretty fun. Though Black Friday and Cyber Monday are going to kill me. But hey! Double pay with overtime! Fuck yeah bud!!! Though I'm dreading it. We're going to have over double the volume going out then our normal days.....plus we've been 3 people short on a crew of 6....we're literally working with only a half crew. Anyway. My job. I get to sort and handle packages coming off the semis out of Canada through our port of entry. Then I rebuild and pack the semis and send them on their way into the states. (I deal with customs and pull stuff to be inspected ect. You'd be surprised at the amount of drugs and counterfeit money that gets mailed out of Canada. So here's an FYI to people. Don't mail illegal shit out Winnipeg or Calgary. I have to deal with those semis and our customs officers are pretty dang good at snagging packages. We have dogs too.
