Umbera Cenna. (Um-bree-ah Sen-ah)

Quiet a rare thing. These beings exist between the 3 worlds, (Heaven, Hell, Living) They are able to hop through the worlds at will. They are very shy animals and do not usually interact with others unless necessary. They are also mute, they do not talk. But even though they do not talk, they are able to communicate telepathically. They can understand any spoken language, and are able to write print. During the 1700s through the 1800s it was discovered that the long hair that grows on their tails/mane could be woven into a very fine silk that was tear proof, fire proof, and water proof. During that century the Umbera Cenna was hunted almost to extinction for their fine fur and for their horns. So to this day, there are very, very few left around.

The Umbera Cenna has a few nick names; God's Dogs, Reapers, Night Shadows, Anglers, and a few others. But with good reason they have some of these names. The Umbera Cenna only feeds every few months, when it does it prefers humans, goats, and horses for it meals. Ironically these animals are very picky eaters. When ever it chooses a meal, it will only eat the people/animals who are damned. When it eats, it eats soul and all. They also have a very bad habit of being “messy” eaters.

These animals can live forever, but they can also die. The only way you can kill one is with an iron blade/bullet/rod. Other worldly weapons have no effect on them. They usually won't attack someone if they just wonder by, but if you corner one you're in for a fight that more than likely you'll lose. The most common form of attack that they use is their tail. They use it as a whip and the hard arrow on the end of their tail is sharp enough to cut. Also they use their horns (if they have them) and long talons.

One other thing, the glowing balls at the end of their whiskers, ears, and tail are little capsules of poisonous liquid. Once ever 1 or 2 months the capsules grow weak and break open. This poison is highly toxic to all animals except the Umbera Cenna. So stay clear away from it.

How long their fur and mane grows is based on how old the Umbera Cenna is. Same goes for it's horns. This animal can either be male, female, or genderless.
